It was like watching a game of FIFA...

The UEFA Europa League is seen by many as the downgrade to their older and better looking brother, The UEFA Champions League.

But this underrated competition has once again produced a moment of sheer madness. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

In injury time during the Group J group tie between Sevilla and Standard Liege, around 20 seconds of pure chaos unraveled as the Belgian side tried to double their lead, but somehow, someway, Michel Preud'homme's side couldn't find the net.

So here's how it went down. Sevilla defender Simon Kjaer attempted to head the ball back to his goalkeeper, Toms Vaclik, but they both collided and the ball was heading to goal. And fast.

Vaclik wasn't giving up on the wayward back pass though and in a remarkable save, he managed to claw the ball onto the post.

The ball then ricochet to a Standard player, who passed it across goal to his teammate, who rounded the goalkeeper to give himself another chance at goal.

Then another Standard player appeared out of nowhere and stole his teammates opportunity, hitting the bar in the process. It was all a bit mad.

The clip has since picked up almost 6,000 RT's and 14,000 favourites on Twitter. It might just be the craziest 20 seconds of football, ever and we can't stop watching it.

Thankfully for Standard Liege and their home support, Sevilla didn't manage to equalise in the final minutes and the Belgian outfit left with all three points.

Imagine if the game was tied at 0-0 when this series of unfortunate events played out.

It really was like watching a game of FIFA.
