It's no secret that Cristiano Ronaldo has struggled for form in recent months and for the first time in eight months, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was substituted in Saturday afternoon's draw against Levante.

Ronaldo was replaced by Marco Asensio in the second half of the La Liga tie after failing to make a real impact on the game.

As you can imagine, the 32-year-old was not happy when Zidane decided to haul him off and as soon as he sat down on the bench, he revealed his true frustrations.

Ronaldo clearly picked up on the fact that the cameraman was focusing on him and continued to put his finger to his mouth.

The Real Madrid forward then reportedly said "don't film me, focus on the game" as Real Madrid went on to draw 2-2 against relegation-threatened Levante.

It was a slightly bizarre reaction from the former Manchester United winger.

Los Blancos are now 18 points behind leaders Barcelona and after the game, Zinedine Zidane revealed that the substitution of Ronaldo was not fitness related.

"No. It was planned to change him, and that's all," Zidane told beIN SPORTS after the match.

"We had the game under control, the most difficult is to score goals. We got to 2-1, but in the end, two mistakes cost us the two goals.

Zidane continued, saying: "This year is being difficult for us. We cannot put three or four results together. I am not happy with the result. We were in control of the game, above all the first half, so not happy, of course.

"The pity is that after we scored our second goal, we were not able to keep hold of the ball, and defensively we were not good."
