Manchester United Player Labelled 'Embarrassing' After Shocking First Half vs Huddersfield

Manchester United have just produced an 'embarrassing' first half display against Huddersfield this afternoon, and one player in particular has been targeted by many on social media.

After Phil Jones limped off after 23 minutes, Jose Mourinho decided to bring on summer signing Victor Lindelof, a player who has struggled for Premier League minutes in recent weeks.

United went onto concede twice in the next 11 minutes, with Lindelof producing a 'shocking' error for Huddersfield second goal - as well as poor defensive positioning for the opener.

Laurent Depoitre made the most of the Victor Lindelof mistake, giving newly promoted Huddersfield a deserved 2-0 lead at half-time.

Aaron Mooy opened the scoring after pouncing on a rebound from Tom Ince's shot. He fired low into the net, giving David de Gea no chance in the United net.

Former Benfica defender Lindelof received the brunt of criticism on social media, as United prepare themselves for an uphill battle in the second half.

You might want to avoid social media for the remainder of the week, Victor.

It doesn't look great...
