Remember when Sir Alex Ferguson famously said "That lad [Filippo Inzaghi] must have been born offside" when he was told that the former AC Milan striker was the most offside player in the history of the game?
Well, a Premier League striker going by the name of Alvaro Morata might just steal that crown after a shocking statistic emerged from this weekend's action.
We would love to get Fergie's reaction to this news.
Morata has been caught in an offside position an incredible 16 times in two hours of football.

To put that in context, the Spaniard has been offside every 7 minutes and 30 seconds in the Premier League this season. Not to mention the other two decisions.
The fact that Morata has been flagged more than Premier League side Bournemouth this season just puts the cherry on top of the cake, for me.
You'll be surprised to learn that the Chelsea forward is also been pulled up more times than any other player in the Premier League this season. Shock, horror.

Plenty on social media reacted to the news during and after their 3-1 defeat to Tottenham on Saturday, and you guessed it, people were quite perplexed.
Take it away, Twitter:

Let's get the salt and pepper shakers out and teach Morata the offside rule.

In fact, here you go Alvaro, just watch this YouTube clip and let me know how it goes. This will make you an expert in under two minutes, apparently.
Thank me later.
