Facundo Pellistri’s Highlights Show He Could Be A Real Game-Changer For Manchester United In Future

Facundo Pellistri has once again left Manchester United fans in awe as he scored for the first time in the Red Devils' 3-1 win.

United Under-23s were in action against Southampton at the Leigh Sports Village on Friday.

Pellistri, who was bought from Penarol in October for a reported €10m, has already left fans excited with compilation videos showing off his talents.

Anthony Elanga opened the scoring for United in the first half before Pellistri doubled his side's advantage early into the second half.

Michael Obafemi pulled one back for Southampton Under-23s, but the Red Devils sealed all three points after Arnau Puigmal added in his side's third in stoppage time.

However, fans have once again put the focus on Pellistri and compiled highlights of the 18-year-old Uruguayan winger's performance from the match.

And fans have once again sung Pellistri's praises and have high hopes for him should he break into the United first team.

"Is it me or does he have a similar dribbling style to [Lionel] Messi?" one fan posted on Twitter.

While another wrote: "He's getting better every game, don't think it's too long now until we see him in the first team."

A third said: "Better and better every game. Getting stronger and more dangerous. He has way more to offer too."

And a fourth fan added: "There's a way he runs with the ball, so beautiful man."

Pellistri left a lasting impression on fans during his debut for United's under-23s side in their 2-1 win over Everton last month.
