Romelu Lukaku was lucky to escape a yellow card after clattering into Joe Gomez, but should he have been sent off for his 'tackle' on Dejan Lovren?
The pair were embroiled in one of the biggest incidents of the match following Lukaku and Lovren tangling before the stroke of half-time.
The Croatian defender slid into the United striker who remained on his feet, and it appeared he flicked out on the downed opponent.

Whether it was on purpose or unintentional is anyone's guess.
But that didn't stop social media going into frenzy. Obviously, the Liverpool faithfuls thought it was a red card while their counterparts saw nothing malicious in the exchange.
Liverpool's view on the kick:

Lukaku kicks Gomez. Lukaku kicks Lovren’s face. Nothing. No cards given.
Wonder if Lukaku will get in trouble for kicking Lovren in the face on purpose?
Then the United reaction:
Bit worried about all those pills Lovren is taking. Lukaku's boot grazes his shoulder and he rolls around clutching his face.
