Eric Dier stormed into a stand at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and appeared to clash with a fan after Spurs crashed out of the FA Cup on Wednesday.
Jose Mourinho's men surrendered a 1-0 lead to Norwich City in the second half and were forced into extra-time before the penalty shootout took place.
And the Canaries caused a stunning upset by beating Spurs 3-2 on penalties and progressing to the next stage of the competition.

However, Dier launched himself into the stands after the clash and was involved in an alleged altercation with a fan.
Supporters were quick to upload footage to social media of the 26-year-old Spurs star climbing into the stands and then being held back in an incident involving a fan.
The reasons for why the confrontation was sparked in the first place remain unclear.

But one video of the altercation has a close-up shot of Dier yelling at the fan: "He's my brother."

However, the 'Special One' condemned his player's response to the incident and said that what "he did was wrong."
Mourinho explained in a press conference: "I don't think that belongs to the game.
"The game was a fantastic representation of the FA Cup, but I cannot run away from the question.

"I think Eric Dier did what we as professionals cannot do, but when someone insults you and your family is involved, especially your young brother."
"This person insulted Eric, the younger brother was not happy with the situation and Eric was not happy. We as professionals cannot do what he did.
"If the club discipline Eric Dier, I would not agree with it, but what he did was wrong."
