The 1966 World Cup champions now take on the winners from tonight's last quarter-final match-up between tournament hosts Russia and Croatia.
England's semi-final fixture takes place on Wednesday 11th July (7 pm kick-off BST) from Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
The other semi-final contest sees Brazilian conquerors Belgium play France on Tuesday 10th July (7 pm kick-off BST).
