England Through To World Cup Semi-Final After Beating Sweden

England are through to the World Cup semi-final.

Gareth Southgate's charges have booked their spot in the last four after beating Sweden. The other Harry, Maguire, opened the scoring courtesy of a bullet header, with England scoring from yet another set-piece.

In the second-half, Dele Alli doubled England's advantage with a brilliant header.

The 1966 World Cup champions now take on the winners from tonight's last quarter-final match-up between tournament hosts Russia and Croatia.

England's semi-final fixture takes place on Wednesday 11th July (7 pm kick-off BST) from Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

The other semi-final contest sees Brazilian conquerors Belgium play France on Tuesday 10th July (7 pm kick-off BST).
