Dida's Goalkeeper Training Sessions At The Age Of 41 Were Something Else

Even at the age of 41, former AC Milan and Brazil goalkeeper Dida was pulling off some world-class saves towards the end of his club career at Internacional.

Dida, who was regarded by many as one of the world's best goalkeepers at the peak of his powers, showcased his almost machine-like athleticism in this gruelling session at the Brasileiro Serie A side's training ground.

He somehow manages to get up after each drill and continues to produce save after save.

Dida enjoyed a highly successful spell at the San Siro.

He made over 200 appearances for the Italian side between 2000 and 2010 before returning to his home country to play for Corinthians, Portuguesa and Gremio.

Now, the former shot-stopper is a goalkeeper coach for the AC Milan first team after a spell working as the club's youth team coach.

Dida was capable of the outstanding - and the outrageous. A horrendous error saw Milan concede a last-minute winner to Celtic in 2007 and the keeper was 'hit' by a celebrating home fan running onto the pitch.

Brushing the Brazilian's face as he ran past, the Brazilian halfheartedly ran after the intruder and dropped to the deck in a heap.

Paramedics then stretchered him off as he held an ice pack to his face. No, really. This happened.

But what a player he was. Was he Brazil's greatest ever goalkeeper?
