Here we go! Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly agreed personal terms with Premier League champions Manchester City ahead of a sensational return to England.

In what could be one of the most extraordinary transfers in football history, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is set to join Pep Guardiola's side before the window slams shut, according to Spanish publication AS.

It is believed Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, flew to Turin on Thursday to secure his player's exit from Juventus.

City have yet to make a formal offer for the 36-year-old, say reports, but a deal has been struck between player and club and all that remains is for Juventus to accept the inclusion of a Manchester City player.

The Italian club want Gabriel Jesus, according to Sam Street, but City are keen on letting Raheem Sterling leave for Turin.

In terms of the deal, City are willing to offer Ronaldo a two-year contract worth £12.8 million a season, according to Sky in Italy.

In fact, reports in France suggest the 36-year-old and his entourage are "seeking to engineer" a transfer in the coming days.

Ronaldo has already spoken to a number of City players about the move, including Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias and Joao Cancelo.

And according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes arrived in Italy on Thursday to try and organise a move away from the Serie A club.

He said: "Cristiano Ronaldo's agent Mendes is in Torino. He's looking for options for Ronaldo - PSG are not interested.

"Mendes approached Manchester City to sign Ronaldo - still NO bid. Juventus want €30m, Man City are not intentioned to pay any fee & want to keep Gabriel Jesus."

Thoughts on Ronaldo potentially joining Premier League champions Manchester City his spell at Old Trafford? Is it the right move?
