Manchester City supporters have brilliantly responded to a Liverpool fan calling Andy Robertson the best left-back in world football.

Robertson has enjoyed a meteoric rise since signing for Liverpool in 2017. From playing for Queens Park to winning the Champions League in an incredible six-year span.

The Scotland captain provided 11 Premier League assists last season in a superb individual campaign. He's also unbeaten at Anfield.

The 25-year-old has played 39 games at Liverpool's iconic home, winning 32 of them while drawing seven times.

"Since joining, Robertson has never lost a game at Anfield. The best left back in the world," a Liverpool fan posted about their defender.

However, another left-back in the shape of Oleksandr Zinchenko has never lost a league game he's played in.

"Since joining, Zinchenko has never lost A GAME for Man City. The best left back in the world," one Twitter user wrote.

"Zinchenho has won all the league games he played. Never lost a game in all stadiums he played.. Best LB it," a second wrote.

Zinchenko has lost a game for City yet he's never tasted defeat in the league for the Blues.

FC Basel beat City in 2018 but the Ukrainian is unbeaten in the league in matches he's featured in.

Naturally, the debate between Robertson and Zinchenko sent social media into overdrive. Here's some reaction from Twitter:
