Liam Mandeville celebrated scoring an absolute screamer for Chesterfield in their FA Cup upset over Salford City by performing a 'toe-sucking' celebration.

The 24-year-old forward netted a wonderful long-range effort on Sunday evening to put the Conference Premier side ahead with just 28 minutes on the clock.

It was a cracking strike from the former Doncaster Rovers man, who then made further headlines when he appeared to take aim at Salford co-owner Paul Scholes.

Chesterfield went on to secure a historic victory against Gary Bowyer's men as James Kellermann made it 2-0 with five minutes left at Moor Lane.

But it was Mandeville's antics after his first goal that really got people talking.

Back in October, bizarre footage emerged of former Manchester United midfielder Scholes chewing his daughter's toenails.

Scholes' 20-year-old daughter Alicia posted the video on Instagram to her 80,000 followers with the caption "True love."

The context behind the clip remains unknown, with some fans suggesting he was initially giving his daughter some sort of foot rub.

Days later, United legend Scholes broke his silence on the incident, admitting he'd had "better weekends" after the footage went viral.
