Rafael Forster scored one of the greatest goals in Europa League history on Thursday with an outrageous long-range free-kick.

The Brazilian left-back (sound familiar?) absolutely walloped the ball into the back of the net in truly sublime fashion, reminiscent of the legendary Roberto Carlos.

Forster pulled the trigger from distance to put Ludogorets two-up in the 40th minute.

Has he already sewn up Europa League goal of the season? Well, his free-kick will definitely be up there come the end of the campaign.

Ludogorets manager's reaction says it all.

Naturally, his stunning free-kick was the talk of social media.

"Goal of the season contender by Ludogorets player Forster," one Twitter user wrote.

A second Tweeted: "Brazilian left-back Rafael Forster is now official the new Roberto Carlos..."

A third added: "WHAT A GOAAAL!!! Ludogorets defender Rafael Forster in full Roberto Carlos mode, doubling his team's lead against Ferencvaros in the UEL."

The Bulgarian side went onto beat Ferencvaros 3-0 with Forster bagging another in the second-half.
