Bayern Munich Thrash Borussia Dortmund 5-0 In Der Klassiker

Bayern Munich have returned to the top of the Bundesliga after thrashing Borussia Dortmund 5-0 at the Allianz Arena.

Two former Borussia Dortmund old boys in Mats Hummels and Robert Lewandowski both scored in the opening 17 minutes.

Hummels headed home from a corner while Lewandowski acrobatically doubled his side's lead in stunning fashion.

Javi Martinez made it 3-0 in the 41st minute with ex-Arsenal attacker Serge Gnabry adding a fourth just before the break in a superb first-half rout.

The lethal Polish striker bagged his second goal of the night in the 88th minute to make it 5-0.

Bayern Munich now have 64 points on the board, one more point than Borussia Dortmund with just six games left of the 2018/19 season.
