The Argentina hero had to sit out of Wednesday's Champions League fixture against Inter Milan due to a arm injury sustained versus Sevilla.

He fractured his arm ruling him out for a few weeks.

But Messi made his way to Camp Nou to cheer on his teammates during the week.

He was sat in the stands with his arm in a sling, alongside his son.

Despite Barcelona being without Messi's services, the Spanish outfit produced. They beat their Italian counterparts 2-0 thanks to goals from Rafael and Jordi Alba.

The club have since released a video which captured Messi's emotions throughout the game and it's brilliant viewing. From anguish to celebration.

The video also captures his reaction to Marcelo Brozovic's genius slide block which prevented Luis Suarez from scoring a free-kick.

He leans forward in anticipation before rocking back with a hilarious grin.

Messi's son, Thiago, also attracted attention for what he did.

The five-year-old produced one of the best moments of the night when he handed his dad a drawing with the Juventus logo.
