Needless to say, the Gunners bloody loved it while claiming his dedication is proof that he's captain material.
Jack Wilshere is the real leader at Arsenal. A player of such quality and passion. Some of the players need to mirror his attitude :muscle: pic.twitter.com/X44ttybAMY

Meanwhile, the England midfielder spoke to Sky Sports after the game and said the following.
"We didn't do ourselves justice in the first half. We were scared to play our game. We allowed them to take the game to us.
"(In the second half) we were much better, we were on the front foot. We will be disappointed not to win the game.
