In last night's Champions League tie between Manchester United and Valencia, full-back Toni Lato could be heard screaming in agony after Antonio Valencia's crunching tackle.
Following the full-time whistle, Lato revealed the extent of his wound while he laid on the changing room injury table, posting a gruesome image online.

The 21-year-old got to his feet after being down for some minutes, but was eventually substituted in the second half because of his injuries.
It looked like Valencia got away with being hurt, but despite initially not showing any sign of being hurt when the tackle was made, it turns out Antonio Valencia was also injured in the collision.

Valencia didn't exactly win many plaudits for his under-par performance at the Mestalla, and his supposed actions at the full-time whistle left a bitter taste with many fans.

It is being reported that the 33-year-old tried to make a 'quick getaway' at full-time before being told to applaud the travelling fans for their support. It didn't go down well with a number of Twitter users.
