After months of speculation surrounding his future, it looks like Philippe Coutinho will finally join Barcelona in the coming days and now the majority of Liverpool fans are speculating who will replace the Brazilian playmaker.

In a detailed report from the Liverpool Echo, almost 4,000 Liverpool fans have had their say on what they want to happen in terms of his future.

The report includes the questions such as what do you think will happen to Coutinho in January and if Liverpool do sell Coutinho, who would you like to see the club target as a replacement?

Firstly, 58% of people feel that it would best to sell Coutinho to Barcelona in the summer window, rather than in January.

Out of the 4,000 people involved in the poll, 52.8% of fans feel like Coutinho is worth more than £150 million.

And finally, 44.8% of Liverpool supporters want Monaco winger Thomas Lemar to replace the departing Brazilian. as Alexis Sanchez comes in second with 20.7% of the vote and Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic is fans' third choice with 8.7%.

Barca will reportedly pay an initial £106 million up front for the 25 year-old midfielder and then a further £36 million in add ons, which will be linked to how many times he plays and how many trophies he wins.

According to The Times, Barca's add ons included in the deal previously were based on more unrealistic things, like Coutinho winning the Ballon d'Or.

Now they're based on appearances and winning leagues and cups.

SPORTbible spoke to Kevin de Bruyne about his FIFA 17 team of the season...

The report also claims that Liverpool tried to persuade Coutinho to stay at Anfield just one lats time, but the player had no interest in a pay rise and has his heart set on a move to the Camp Nou.

How much do you think Coutinho is worth in the current market? Who should replace the Brazilian?
