Marcus Rashford's career trajectory continues to sky rocket after bagging his third league goal of the season in the resounding 4-1 victory over Premier League champions Leicester City over the weekend, in the process equaling club and international colleague Wayne Rooney's record.

The United faithfuls have voiced their frustration about the lack of action from Rashford but has now started the last two league games including the devastating defeat to Watford though did find himself on the scoresheet.

In contrast, the constant inclusion of skipper Wayne Rooney has riled the same lot after his consistent shithousery performances, until the weekend when Jose Mourinho dropped him to the bench.

As Rashford is the talk of the town, and Rooney is, erm, not so much, the United starlet has now the exact same goalscoring record following his fourth goal in all competitions.

After 25 games of his Manchester United career, the 18-year-old has scored 12 goals. And that's exactly the same number Rooney had scored 25 games into his United career, too.

The young English frontman has mirrored Rooney's incredible rise to prominence in the 2004/05 season with his own exploits, which also includes bagging on his under-21's and senior debuts.
