Sergio Ramos has appeared in his 25th final for both club and country.

According to Marca, the 32-year-old defender has featured in 21 finals for Los Blancos and four for Spain.

When it comes to his win-loss ratio, the Madrid captain has shown how important he can be for his side. He has won an incredible 18 finals that he has appeared in, which means he has won three out of the four finals he has played in.

The Spanish international, who is also captain for his country, has won the World Cup in 2010 and the Euros in 2008 and 2012. He also experienced bittersweet defeat in the 2013 Confederations Cup, with Brazil thumping Spain 3-0.

Ramos' trophy haul with Madrid is an amazing feat. He has won four Champions League titles, three UEFA Super Cups, three Supercopa de Españas and two Copa del Reys.

Oh, and he now has four Club World Cup medals to his name.

Madrid thrashed Al Ain 4-1 in the final, with none other than Ramos scoring Los Blancos' third with a header.

It's hard to argue against the World Cup winner's status as a Real Madrid legend, especially as he has featured in more finals than the likes of Iker Casillas and Francisco Gento (both appearing in 16 each).

The Spanish newspaper reports that if Ramos played more than 41 minutes against Al Ain, he would have overtaken Sergio Busquets' 2,473 minutes played in finals. Well, it looks like Ramos can add that honour to his list now.

Ramos featured in the top 100 footballers in the world for the Guardian, while SPORTbible readers voted him the best defender in world football.
