Sergio Ramos could care less about individual honours like the Ballon d'Or, as he's got his sights on another Champions League trophy.

And his reason why is a typically cool as fuck response.

(Throwback to when Julia Roberts met Ramos. This is awkward:)

If Real Madrid do indeed make history and lift back-to-back Champions League, then Cristiano Ronaldo will be a red-hot favourite to land the coveted individual prize.

Though the work of Ramos shouldn't go unnoticed and he could even be an outside favourite to bag the award.

And if he did pip his club colleague, Ramos would become the first defender since the legendary Italian Fabio Cannavaro won the Ballon d'Or back in 2006.

When asked about the prospect of winning the award, Ramos said to AS via Yahoo.

"The Ballon d'Or? We will see what happens. It is true that Cannavaro also won it. We should not forget that"

But he has his priorities in order which begins with the 'Big Ears.'

"But the most important thing for me is to win another Champions League with Real Madrid and celebrate that."

Before claiming the importance of winning trophies are greater than individual acclaim, then his brilliant response.

"Trophies won with the team are the most important ones for me. I would have played tennis if I wanted individual trophies."

What a guy.

Meanwhile, Ramos and Co. attempt to successfully defend the Champions League following last years victory against cross-town rivals Atletico, by taking on Juventus.

Juve are on course for an impressive treble, while Real will be hoping to add the Champions League to their trophy tally for this campaign which also includes the La Liga title.
