Rafael van der Vaart has launched a scathing attack on Chelsea striker Timo Werner, calling the German a "blind horse".
Werner signed for the Blues in a £53 million move from RB Leipzig but has struggled in front of goal, scoring just 10 goals in 41 games.
While he's looked better in recent weeks under compatriot Thomas Tuchel, Werner has still only notched five times in the Premier League and has been guilty of missing a number of big chances in front of goal.

And former Spurs, Ajax and Real Madrid midfielder Van der Vaart does not rate him in the slightest.
Asked about Chelsea's attacking options, the Dutchman slammed Werner and claims he doesn't do much apart from "running around".
"I would always play [Hakim] Ziyech because he is the best," Van der Vaart told Ziggo Sport, as per Sport Witness.

"Ziyech comes inside and also gives the cross, just like [Mason] Mount. [Olivier] Giroud needs that.
"He's [Werner] super-fast, and that might be nice in an away game when you're under pressure, but it's just putting your head down and running around.
"Mount is a great footballer, who I do think needs to make a step up. I compare him a bit to Calvin Stengs; you have to become a man.
'Werner is really a blind horse. He has already proven that in Germany.'
Van der Vaart has a reputation for pulling no punches with his opinions.

In July, he joked that Manchester United captain Harry Maguire goes home and tells his wife, "I'm so sh*t at football but I earn so much".
He's also compared the England captain to Sunday League defenders, saying, "When I go to see an amateur club on Sunday, I can find 3 players who can play like him."
