So, about Paul Merson's Premier League 'Team of the Year'.
The ex-footballer turned pundit picked 11 players as he revealed his 'TOTY' from England's top flight.
The usual suspects appear: United's De Gea, City's Kevin De Bruyne & David Silva not to mention Spurs' Harry Kane, to name but a few.
Though, he made a f*cking glaring omission. He left out Liverpool's rapid attacker Mohamed Salah!

WHAT?!
The Egyptian hero has already bagged 14 league goals from just 18 games. However, he couldn't make Merson's XI.

But the former Arsenal and Villa player has now explained why he left out the Liverpool star. And even by his standards, this is bad.
When quizzed about why he didn't opt for Salah, he said via Mirror: "I apologise for that. I forgot about him!"
'FORGET ABOUT HIM'?!

If he was to re-do his side, he'd chose Salah instead of Leroy Sane.
"He would be in it, but I would put him in it for Sane if I could do it again. I think my team is strong but I had to put Salah in it. I'm very sorry, happy Christmas, Mo.
"He should be in it, he's top scorer in the country and Premier League - he's not even a centre-forward," Merson added.
Meanwhile, Salah will be seeking to add to his impressive goal tally when his side travel to the Emirates on Friday night to take on Arsenal.
