It still feels quite surreal that Kevin Prince-Boateng has got himself a move to Barcelona but it seems like the man himself was equally as surprised as us when he heard of their interest.
Boateng, who has scored five goals in 15 appearances for Sassuolo, who he joined in the summer, has been drafted in on loan as a back-up forward option for the Blaugrana.
The club also have an option to buy for £7 million at the end of the season, with the 31-year old describing it as a "dream come true" after becoming the first Ghanaian to sign for Barcelona.
And in a press conference for his official unveiling, KPB revealed his brilliant reaction when his people informed him that Barcelona wanted to sign him.
The well-travelled midfielder has experience in La Liga, having scored 10 goals in the Spanish top tier playing for Las Palmas in 2016/17.
But the former Spurs and Portsmouth man has also scored two goals against his new employers, including an absolute worldie for AC Milan at the San Siro in a 2011 Champions League game.
It's probably not the reason as to why the La Liga champions have snapped him up, though manager Ernesto Valverde thinks he can slot in nicely.
"He doesn't seem to need much time to adapt. He knows his stuff and can start playing straight away," he said.
"He's comfortable in many positions, as a central striker or playing off another striker, and even deeper too."
Prince-Boateng's move to Barca is the eleventh of his career and he will wear the No.19 shirt for the club.
