How do you motivate a team for a big game? Well, one president has decided the perfect incentive for his players is to give every single one of them a PlayStation 5.
Hussein Al-Ankoshei, a lawyer, businessman and chairman of Iraqi Premier League side Al-Diwaniya, has made the promise and will gift out the next-gen consoles to the squad should they win against Al-Zawraa, currently fourth in the league.
The two sides square off tomorrow and Al-Ankoshei has given his side the perfect motivation to get three points.
The standard version of PS5s cost £450 and so it won't exactly be a cheap investment for the 33-year-old, but it will be a rewarding one if they emerge victorious.
"A reward for each player in the event that they win against Al-Zawra tomorrow," he wrote on Instagram, as roughly translated from Arabic into English."

This kind of bonus isn't new for the president. When goalkeeper Walid Attiya saved a penalty last month, he received $2,000 from Al-Ankoshei on top of his usual salary.
Sony's console was released on 19 November and Zlatan Ibrahimovic appeared to be the plug at AC Milan, with many of his teammates thanking him for producing the goods on launch day.
