His pay packet will surely be completely different if this deal happens.

The Premier League's lowest paid player took to the pitch for the first season in the Premier League this season when 17-year old youngster Josh Tymon started and lasted 68 minutes of Hull City's 3-0 defeat away at Sunderland on Saturday.

Incredibly, the left-back still reportedly earns a measly £160-a-week wage as he is yet to sign a professional contract - a far cry from the ordinary wage for a footballer playing in the top tier of English football.

Tymon is well thought of by the club and has made two starts in the EFL Cup this season in wins over Exeter and Bristol City. The Tigers are desperate to tie him down to a new and improved deal, with the likes of Everton and Liverpool sniffing around.

According to ESPN FC, Arsenal are also seriously interested in the talented young player. Arsene Wenger is looking at bringing in a new left-back, with regular defender Nacho Monreal, 30, not getting any younger. Second choice left-back Kieran Gibbs has started just five games in all competitions this season, with the majority of his appearances coming as a late substitute as Arsenal look to see out a game.

Despite his youthfulness, Tymon already has experience of playing at the Emirates; he put in an assured display in a 0-0 draw against the Gunners last season at the age of 16.

With Hector Bellerin tied down to a new six-year contract, landing the talented Tymon would surely mean Arsenal are complete in the full-back positions for a long period of time.
