Based on average match ratings collected in league games this season, Tottenham's Hugo Lloris is in between the sticks.

Manchester City trio Fernandinho, David Silva and Raheem Sterling make up the bulk of the midfield and are joined by Eden Hazard, who many believe has been the best player in the league this term.

Then, to the surprise of no-one, it's goal machines Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah who complete the side. The pair are on course to be tussling it out for the Golden Boot for the second consecutive campaign.

Hazard, who has gone up another gear thanks to the creative freedom given to him by Maurizio Sarri, is the highest-rated Premier League player.

The Belgian's tally of 10 goals and nine assists have given him an overall rating of 7.97 - more than any other player in the division.
