The Premier League are poised to agree a massive TV right deals which will see games broadcast in China.

Chinese streaming service PPTV will have the rights, which are worth as much as a massive £560m. The Associated Press news agency say that $700m would be the total price of the deal, working out at $233m-a-year starting in 2019, while oher reports have suggested the contract is worth $600m - either way it's a lot of money being forked out.

In the UK, Sky and BT share the rights to show top flight football in England, with both media giants agreeing to pay a record-breaking £5.14bn for a three-season-deal.

Top flight games are already shown in China, however this three-year deal would me much more lucrative. The Chinese Super League itself is on the rise, with big name such as Graziano Pelle, Hulk, Ramires, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Alex Teixeira turning it in the league.

A source told the BBC that the deal is happening, though no-one from the Premier League is yet to confirm or deny the reports.

Midlands sides West Brom and Aston Villa have Chinese owners, while the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City proved that China is a huge market for them when they took part in the Audi Cup in the country in pre-season.

City in particular are targeting the Chinese Markets. Chinese Consortium CMC purchased a 13% stake in the club in a deal that was worth a reported £265m.
