Premier League Club Think They Can Beat United To Mourinho

Surely not?

Was yesterday's 1-0 win over Manchester City too little too late for Louis van Gaal or the start of the Dutchman's revival at Manchester United? One Premier League club are hoping it's the latter as they hope to beat United to Jose Mourinho.

The former Chelsea manager seems to be the heir apparent to LvG at Old Trafford and has been since he got sacked by Chelsea and United lost back-to-back Premier League games against Norwich and Bournemouth and were knocked out of the Champions League in the space of about a week in December.

However with the deal not yet done and the Red Devils still in with a chance of getting into the Champions League reports in Spain today suggest that Arsenal may pounce on United's indecision and decide to replace Arsene Wenger with his sworn enemy.

The report comes from Spanish website Fichajes.net who say that the board at Arsenal are getting bored with finishing without a Premier League title after years of coming frustratingly close before throwing it all away in February and March.

Surely this won't happen? The chances of Wenger quitting or being sacked at the end of the season are remote enough never mind the idea that Jose would head to the Emirates. Imagine Wenger's reaction when he finds out the club have p*ssed all over his legacy by appointing the guy he hates most in the world as his replacement.
