News is breaking across South America that Chapecoense defender Helio Zampier Neto has been rescued from the wreckage of the LaMia Airlines Flight 2933 crash that has claimed almost 80 lives in Colombia, overnight.

Neto's teammate Alan Ruschel, on loan from Internacional, arrived at hospital alive and talking earlier today, although the passenger next to him, goalkeeper Danilo, who was also pulled from the wreckage alive, has since passed away.

The 31-year-old, formerly of Santos and Guarani, has been with Chapecoense for two seasons, making 52 appearances for the club and scoring four goals.
