Like bringing a pad of paper and a pen to a gunfight Spurs limped out of the Europa League last night beaten by a Dortmund side who bought their full artillery whilst Mauricio Pochettino rested Harry Kane. Unsurprisingly Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ended up being the difference.

Aubameyang scored two goals last night to take him up to 34 for the season as Dortmund ran out 5-1 winners on aggregate against Spurs. The Gabonese striker has been on incredible form this season and been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

After scoring his brace last night, to go with the opening goal in last week's first leg, Aubameyang took to Instagram to dedicate his goals to his late grandfather:

The former St Etienne forward has said previously that before his death he promised his grandfather that he would one day move to Real Madrid whom his granddad supported.

Dortmund will now be one of the favourites to win the Europa League and with Aubameyang upfront it will be difficult to stop them.
