Philippe Coutinho Set To Join Bayern Munich On Loan From Barcelona
Philippe Coutinho is poised to join Bayern Munich on loan, according to reports.
The Brazilian, who has struggled to settle at Barcelona, was linked with both Arsenal and Spurs as deadline day approached in England but nothing materialised.
However, according to journalist Nicola Jorge, Coutinho is slated to head to Bavaria with Bayern on a loan deal - with only "bureaucratic details" required for the move to be done and dusted.
The former Liverpool man has been removed from Barca's squad for the season opener against Athletic Bilbao tonight as he prepares for his temporary transfer away.

Coutinho left Liverpool in January 2018 when he sealed a dream £142 million move to Barcelona but the former Inter Milan playmaker has struggled in Spain, failing to properly establish himself as a first-team regular under Ernesto Valverde despite occasional moments of brilliance.
He will join Bayern with the hope of being afforded regular game-time and is slated to become Niko Kovac's fifth addition so far this summer, with Mickaël Cuisance of Borussia Monchengladbach also expected to be on his way to the Allianz Arena before the summer window closes.
Is Coutinho a good loan signing for Bayern?
