Phil Jones scored a brilliant looping header in Manchester United's 6-0 thrashing of Tranmere Rovers, but the whole moment is much more poetic with Titanic music.

United.s No.4 started off the game in normal fashion by ending up on the turf mere minutes into the contest, with mud all over his kit.

He then looked to have injured himself yet again after being on the receiving end of a strong tackle in the box.

But just when you thought it was going to be another peak Phil Jones performance, the Blackburn youth product came up with his first goal in 2,150 days just before half-time.

Jones made it 4-0 with a superb header at the far post from Andreas Pereira corner and such an iconic footballing moment warranted the dulcet tones of Celine Dion to accompany it.

But while Jones' heart must go on, he was in total disbelief over scoring in the rout - so much so that he genuinely had no idea to celebrate.

He ended up just doing a nervous, awkward action with his hands.

His centre-back partner Harry Maguire channelled his inner Cristiano Ronaldo when he opened the scoring with a worldie, while Jesse Lingard decided to bust out the 'J-Lingz' sign after scoring his first goal since his struck against Arsenal at the Emirates on January 25 2018.

Diogo Dalot, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood were also on target as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side eased into the fifth round.
