England's 23-man World Cup squad is already set in stone but Peter Crouch has made a late push to make Gareth Southgate's travelling party to Russia.

The Stoke City striker actually has a brilliant record for the Three Lions, scoring 22 in 42 games and playing for his country in two World Cups -including scoring a winner against Trinidad and Tobago in Germany back in 2006.

Not officially retired from international football, he scored six goals for Stoke as they were relegated from the Premier League and let us all know he's still got it with a ridiculous trickshot on holiday.

The master of the Robot dance walloped a football into a basketball hoop from around 30-yards out and wheeled away as though he'd notched a World Cup final winner.

The tweet, which blew up on social media, was captioned: "I still haven't booked any holidays". He may have already named his squad, along with the standby list, but Crouchy should be on the plane regardless.

It's the latest bit of Twitter goodness the 37-year old - who never, ever fails to disappoint:

If only 'Arry' Redknapp was England manager, big Pete would be in Russia getting on the end of Joey Barton knockdowns for Jermain Defoe...
