Konami have released their latest update, Data Pack 5, and it's good news for Greenwood, who now looks exactly as he does in real life courtesy of the incredible graphics.
In giving Greenwood a proper face, PES have made FIFA, the bigger and more popular game, look a little silly.

Even with increased detail on the next-gen version of the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X that was released in December, Greenwood's face still isn't official on EA Sports' franchise game and it's led to plenty of frustrated fans.

Despite the 19-year-old playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, pop star Dua Lipa got a proper face before him when she was added to the VOLTA football mode on the game.
So we can play as Dua Lipa but not any actual women's club footballer in FIFA 21...

Why has it not happened yet? Well, it seems COVID-19 has had impacted EA's ability to get scans done and so it's looking like we will have to wait until FIFA 22 for Greenwood to be official-looking.

"Due to the current global pandemic, unfortunately we haven't been able to visit the training ground this year due to club restrictions on external party access," an EA Spokesperson told the Manchester Evening News.
"We were able to capture Brandon Williams' head scan during a visit to Carrington in February 2020 but Mason was unavailable to attend this session."
