There's been uproar amongst the Manchester United fanbase on Twitter as a result of one supporters receiving a rather bizarre letter from the club.

Ian Sterling shared a letter he had sent from Dan Schofield, Head of Venue Operations at the Old Trafford club, ahead of Sunday's eagerly-anticipated Manchester derby.

Mr Schofield tells Mr Sterling that according to their records, he has got to the game either just in time for kick-off, or after the game has commenced, for the majority of home games this season.

And with a heavy snowfall forecasted on Sunday, in addition to the added security measures and roadworks around the ground, he's made a pledge for him to try and get to 'the Theatre of Dreams' no later than 1 hour before kick-off.

But as Ian explains in his Tweet, where he's clearly not happy, there's not much he can do when there's an added security presence at the game and therefore longer delays at the turnstiles.

Several other fans also received the same letter/email and have taken the same stance:

Leaving games early, one of my major gripes, is another issue entirely, but United have been a bit out of order here.
