Chelsea have a lot of speedy and nippy players but you might be surprised to find out that midfielder Pedro considers Davide Zappacosta as the Blues' fastest current player.
The Italian full-back has made a pretty understated, but solid, start to his life as a Chelsea player, and has weighed-in with some pretty important contributions, including a wonder goal in the Champions League group stages against Qarabag.
But with the likes of Willian, N'Golo Kante and even Pedro himself at Stamford Bridge, surely Zappacosta couldn't get near the title of fastest player, right?

Well, not according to the former Barcelona winger.

Speaking in a yet-to-be-broadcast interview with Soccer AM, via Football.London, the World Cup winner explained: "It's difficult because there are many fast players. Charly Musonda, Willian, Davide Zappacosta.
"I don't know. N'Golo Kante does a lot of running and doesn't stop running.
"Those four guys are probably the fastest.
"Who would win a 100m race? Probably Zappacosta."

Zappacosta was an unused substitute in Saturday's 3-1 win over Newcastle but Antonio Conte could recall him for this week's Champions League showdown with Atletico Madrid, and we'll be watching his sprinting very closely.
