Paul Pogba's bizarre penalty-taking approach can be replicated with the man himself on FIFA 19.

In the opening Premier League game of the new season against Leicester, the World Cup winner struck his spot-kick brilliantly despite taking about half an hour to take it - setting the tone for what was a very complete midfield performance from the former Juventus man.

Even though he dispatched it past Kasper Schmeichel, his run-up garnered a lot of reaction on social media and after the game, United's captain for the game explained why he takes them in such a manner.

"It's my style of taking penalties, I've always done," he told Sky Sports.

"I know it's long, it can disturb the goalkeeper, but that's how I take it. The most important thing is that the ball goes in, because if I miss, I know what I will hear afterwards."

You'll probably get Sunday League players up and down the country trying to imitate United's No.6 now that they've seen him pull it off, but fans can also go for the unusual style on FIFA 19, as footage from the beta version of the game shows.

Twitter user @blindinho has been sharing loads of clips of cool new introductions to the game and his latest is Pogba's run-ups:

Earlier in the thread, he'd informed us all that Pogba can also celebration with the 'Billy dance', while his teammate Jesse Lingard is capable of 'Milly Rocking'.

We're going to have some fun on FIFA 19, aren't we?
