Panini Is Bringing Out A New Premier League Stickers Album For The 2019-20 Season

This season of the Premier League is far from over, but Panini Group has dropped some news that will make a fair few people feel nostalgic.

Panini Group has announced a new partnership with the Premier League for the official release of a 2019-20 season sticker album.

According to the company's website, the new arrangement covers the "retail and promotional product, both physical and digital."

Once it is released, it might be the perfect time to roll back the years by collecting the loose change lying around your house and pick up a copy of the sticker album.

Peter Warsop, the Panini Group licensing director, said: "The coming together of Panini and the Premier League is wonderful news for the global collectables market.

"Panini's international reach of both retail and promotional collectables provide the perfect platform to grow the business."

Mike Riddell, the managing director of Panini UK, added: "This is a game-changer for the UK market. The Premier League is the strongest league in the world and our challenge is to restore the UK football collectables market to number one."

Richard Masters, the managing director of the Premier League, explained: "Panini has an excellent reputation for producing high-quality and popular collectable football stickers and trading cards that are popular with fans across the world.

"We look forward to working with them from season 2019/20 onwards."

It's not like sticker albums have fallen out of fashion either.

In fact, there was one case last year where armed robbers stole 638 boxes of Panini stickers. Yes, that actually happened!

When it came to the World Cup last summer, there's no doubt that many football fans were scurrying around trying to collect all of the stickers needed for their books.

Surprisingly, one mathematician went the extra distance by working out the price of filling up a World Cup-themed sticker book.
