A Medellin supporter hurled a knife in the direction of a Millonarios player in crazy scenes over in Colombia.

On Saturday, during Millonarios' 2-1 win away at the Atanasio Girardot stadium, a rival fan in the stands threw the weapon near to where David Macalister Silva was on the pitch during their stoppage time goal celebrations.

The blunt object just missed the 32-year old but he was seen picking it up off the turf and passing it to referee Carlos Ortega, who quickly passed it on to his fourth official.

In a similarly crazy story, last year over in Greece a handgun made its way onto the pitch after Paok Salonika's game against AEK Athens when Paok owner Ivan Savvidis stormed onto the field of play whilst in possession of a gun as he threatened the referee over a late disallowed goal.
