Only Three Left-Backs Are Rated Higher Than Manchester United New Boy Alex Telles On FIFA 21

Only Three Left-Backs Are Rated Higher Than Manchester United New Boy Alex Telles On FIFA 21

Manchester United's new left-back Alex Telles is one of the best in his position in FIFA 21.

The Brazilian made the move to Old Trafford on deadline day for a fee of £15 million and signed a four-year contract with the club.

He'll soon be available to play with in United's side when FIFA 21 is released worldwide tomorrow and might just end up being a very tidy option at left-back in a Premier League XI on Ultimate Team.

That's because there are only three left-backs with better ratings than the 27-year-old on this year's games. Liverpool's Andy Robertson is the best in the business with an 87 rating, with Jordi Alba (86-rated) and Alex Sandro (85-rated) following him.

Telles, who is placed in 132nd on the FIFA ratings list, is 84-rated - the same overall given to Everton's Lucas Digne, Benfica's Grimaldo and Ajax's Nicolas Tagliafico.

With high defensive and attacking work rate, he's definitely the better candidate for the left-back berth than Luke Shaw for anyone wanting to play with United on kick-off or online seasons.

United's highest-rated player on this year's game is Bruno Fernandes, who has 14 goals and ten goals in 26 games for the 13-time Premier League winners.

The Portugal international has gone up two marks to 87, while David De Gea has seen a downgrade of three to end up on 86 on FIFA 21.

Paul Pogba has dropped from 88 to 86, with attacking double act Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial increasing their overalls to 85 and 84 respectively.
