Amazon are expected to be FC Barcelona's sponsors for the upcoming 2016/17 campaign, according to Catalan radio station RAC1.
The Catalan side went without an official shirt sponsor for a considerable period, before developing a partnership with the charity 'UNICEF' in 2006.
They then signed an agreement with Qatar Airways and although the company are still an option for next season's sponsor, Amazon are expected to be the brand we see on the shirts of the La Liga champions due to Japanese retailer Rakuten pulling out of a sponsorship deal.
The shirt sponsor for next season is set to be revealed prior to Barcelona's pre-season friendly with Celtic in Dublin on June 30. According to RAC1, the bid from the electronic giants is still short of the 65 million euros Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu is demanding.

However, there have been rumours about Amazon opening a warehouse in Barcelona and extra bit of promotion for them could come in the form of FC Barcelona's shirt 2016/17 shirt sponsors, though it's not set in stone just yet.
