Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'Holds One-On-One Meeting' With Manchester United Player
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reassured one of his squad members that he's part of his plans.
The caretaker manager has transformed Manchester United's form.
He's guided his side to fifth spot after rattling off impressive victories in the Premier League, most notably beating Spurs away from home. Not to mention securing a spot in the next round of the FA Cup after beating Arsenal at the Emirates.
He's not only re-introduced United's philosophies but also getting the best out of his players.
Victor Lindelof, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford are all in scintillating form under Solskjaer's managerial tutelage.
Conversely, a few players have barely got a sniff since Solskjaer's appointment.
One of them being summer signing Fred. The Brazilian arrived from Shakhtar Donetsk for a whopping £53 million, and he's failed to make an impression.
But the Norwegian boss has assured Fred that he's part of his plans at Old Trafford.
He's only had two starts for United since Solskjaer was drafted in. He's been hauled off in both those games, too.
Solskjaer held a discussion with Fred, and said he was happy with his performance levels in training and will be given the opportunity to play in the remainder of the season, according to Metro.
The report also claims Fred appreciated Solskjaer's gesture after feeling unwanted by Jose Mourinho during his miserable reign.
Fred was an unused substitute against Leicester City on Sunday as United won 1-0 to climb above Arsenal to fifth spot.
What's your take on Fred's performances so far? Let us know.
