Poor Gareth Barry. This past Sunday, Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the 25,000th goal in Premier League history and everyone spent the entire day talking about it. A week earlier, meanwhile Barry became the first ever Premier League player to take 25,000 touches of the ball and no one batted an eyelid.

Granted, 25,000 Gareth Barry touches aren't exactly as exciting as 25,000 goals, but still, you'd think some busy, eagle eyed statto would have noticed it and delivered a modicum of fanfare for the Everton midfielder.

In the most Gareth Barry moment ever, he broke the record by taking a short corner in injury time to wind the clock down, during Everton's 2-0 victory over West Ham at Goodison Park.

Well done, Gareth. Here's to another 25,000 touches.
