Cristiano Ronaldo and Co faced cross-town neighbours last night as the Portuguese star was on rampant form bagging a hat-trick en route to a 3-nil victory as well as creating more history with the Los Blancos in the process.

The 31-year-old pipped the great Alfredo Di Stefano in scoring the most goals against Atletico Madrid. Ronaldo bagged his 17th, 18th and 19th goals a landmark bettered by none in their rich history.

What's more, the three-time Ballon d'Or winner is also in sole possession of several other Real records including the clubs all-time scorer, but there are a host of significant other records Ronaldo will have on his cross-hairs on:

Lionel Messi = 320

Ronaldo = 268

Di Stefano = 18

Ronaldo = 16

Most goals scored in a single Copa Del Rey campaign.

Current record = Ferenc Puskas (14)

Ronaldo's personal best = 7

Puskas = 38-years-old

Ronaldo's new contract will extend his stay at the Bernabeu for a further five years as well as expressing a desire in playing till he's 40.

Ivan Zamorano = 12-seconds

Most appearances for Real Madrid.

A toughie;

Raul = 741

Ronaldo = 374

But, hey, he wants to play for ages more.

Oldest post-second World War player.

Puskas = 38-years-old and 233 days

Most appearances in the Champions League for Real Madrid.

Iker Casillas = 152

Ronaldo = 79

All time appearance maker for a non-Spanish player.

Roberto Carlos (Brazil) = 370

Ronaldo = 245 and counting

Will he be able to break any of these?
