Nike Design Wine Inspired Football Boots For Andrea Pirlo

Today, Nike released a special limited edition of the Nike Tiempo Legend 6 football boots for Andrea Pirlo because it's Pirlo, and, well, his love for wine.

The boots pay homage to the Italian maestros passion for wine following the 37-year-old opening a winery called Pratum Coller in the Lombardy region of northern Italy.

His desire for wine making gave Nike the idea to produce a pair of brand spanking boots featuring premium Alegria leather in a Merlot, as well as Black and Cork, colourway inspired by the juice of the grape.

Just like his winery logo, four gold stars appear on the boot's heel counter and plate to honor Italy's World Cup titles.
