It has emerged that Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante suffered a health scare on Friday, just two days before their Premier League tie against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
The 26-year-old, who was replaced by Cesc Fabregas at the Etihad, fainted at Chelsea's Cobham training ground on Friday as 'terrified' teammates looked on in concern, according to The Telegraph.
The reports claim that a Chelsea doctor was on the scene in seconds as Kante slumped to one side in the dressing room.

Thankfully no underlying problem was found and he trained alone today without the rest of the squad.
Kante was eventually sent to a specialist after he regained consciousness and after a number of cardiology tests, he was given a clean bill of health.

He was, in fact, given the all clear to play against Manchester City but he didn't feel well on the Sunday and decided against participating.
