Neymar bagged a stunning hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain thumped Istanbul Basaksehir 5-1 at the Parc Des Princes.

Following on from the game's suspension after 13 minutes due to an alleged racist comment made by the fourth official yesterday evening, Neymar was at his irresistible best in a comfortable victory in the French capital.

He opened the scoring with a glorious solo goal that saw him humiliate a defender with a deft nutmeg before curling one into the top corner.

The former Barcelona forward added a second and then, when on a hat-trick, allowed Kylian Mbappe to take a penalty just before half-time to make the score 3-0.

But Neymar went ahead and secured his third Champions League hat-trick smashing in another sublime effort from outside the box early in the second half.

With five goals in his last two Champions League appearances, it means he now boasts a ridiculous 65 goals and assists in as 65 games in Europe's premier club competition.

He's also become the first player to score 20 Champions League goals with two different teams.

Last season's runners up PSG have topped Group H ahead of RB Leipzig and will play a second-placed team in the round of 16.
