Neymar Picks Sergio Ramos As The Best Player He's Played Against

Neymar says Sergio Ramos is the best player he has played against in his career.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward took part in a Q&A with Oh My Goal as part of his promotion for the 'Neymar Five' 5-aside tournament in his native Brazil and was asked about his toughest opponent.

And Real and Spain skipper Ramos, who he has come up against playing for both Barcelona and PSG, was his swift answer.

"The best player I've faced? Sergio Ramos," Neymar said, as per Goal.

"Because he's an excellent central defender and what's more, he scores goals. He's very difficult to play against."

In the same chat, Neymar also heaped praise on compatriot Vinicius Jr and tipped the 19-year old to be in contention for the Ballon d'Or in his career after an impressive first season at Los Blancos.

"Vinicius Jr, he's super young and while he may have many years ahead of him, I think he will become an incredible player.

"He'll become one of the best, he'll compete for the Ballon d'Or. I hope he gets everything he wants. He's a great kid, very kind. I hope he will go very far because he deserves it."

In addition, Neymar was asked about his best memory in football and picked out Barcelona's stunning 6-1 win over current employers PSG back in 2017 at the Nou Camp.

"The best memory in a locker room? Ahh, I don't know," the Santos youth product replied.

"Well, when we won against PSG with Barcelona, it was completely... we all went crazy afterward!

"I believe it was the best possible feeling for all of us. What we felt when we scored that sixth goal, I've never felt something like this. It was incredible."
