David Beckham (England)
Steven Gerrard (England)
Frank Lampard (England)
Thierry Henry (France)
Neymar also named his dream active five-a-side team and there's no place for Cristiano Ronaldo, with the 27-year-old opting for former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez as well as Manchester United's Paul Pogba, Real Madrid's Eden Hazard and Paris Saint-Germain colleague Kylian Mbappe.
Dream Active Five-A-Side:
Paul Pogba (Manchester United)
Eden Hazard (Real Madrid)
Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
Luis Suarez (Barcelona)
Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain)
No messing from Neymar who has failed to name a goalkeeper in either team, with the superstar forward thinking very offensively.
There were stipulations with Neymar's teams, too, he was asked not to pick players from Brazil.
The Brazilian also spoke about a "tough" 2019 while laying out his expectations for the new year.
"Professionally and personally, 2019 was a tough year for me. It was a year full of learnings and turnarounds," he said.
"I injured myself and had to come back. Then I injured myself again.
"Although it seems like a bad year, it was a year full of learnings and lots of experiences. I am taking the positive side of it so that 2020 can be better.
"My biggest expectation for 2020 is to win everything I can with PSG and the Brazilian team.
"I'll seek new challenges, I want to be in the Champions League final, I want to win the Copa America once again. These are the challenges I intend to overcome in 2020."
